Bacon-structive and make this for your weekend brunch…

I LOVE me a good burger! Especially one topped with a poached egg to make for an unreal brunch. This hearty sandwich will really fire up your taste buds. The kick of McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning, Yancy’s Steakhouse Onion cheese and Worcestershire sauce is a combo like no other.

Smoked Bacon Burger with Poached Egg & Steakhouse Onion Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients for two burgers

  • 2 slice of smoked bacon
  • ½ pound of ground sirloin
  • ¼ tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 ½ tsp. McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil


In a small skillet cook bacon until crispy, approximately 4-5 minutes. Set aside on a paper towel.

In a medium bowl, place the sirloin and season with Worcestershire sauce and steak seasoning. Crumble up the bacon into small pieces and add to the bowl until evenly combined.

Divide the meat in half to make two burger patties. In a medium skillet, cook burgers in olive oil over medium heat for 4 minutes on each side.

Ingredients for Sandwich

  • 1 toasted English muffin
  • 1 piece of Wegman’s Yancy’s Steakhouse Onion Cheese
  • 1 tbsp. of Wegmans Dijon Whole Grain Mustard
  • 2 tbsp. of chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp. of chopped orange pepper
  • A few pieces of fresh Italian parsley
  • 1 poached egg


 Toast one English muffin and then place a piece of cheese on one half and top with parsley. On other toasted half, spread Dijon mustard. Top each side with half of the chopped onion and chopped orange pepper.

Meanwhile, poach an egg for 4-5 minutes in an egg poacher pan.

Top the bottom half with the burger and poached egg. Enjoy this sandwich for a hearty brunch or even as breakfast for dinner! Bon appétit!
