Last day of my senior fall semester?! Where has the time gone, folks….seriously. It’s a pretty bittersweet year to say the least and I am definitely trying to make the most of all my last college moments. I mean what says “COLLEGE” more than mulled wine, pajamas, popcorn and watching “White Christmas” with your roommate Vic?! Hmm…sounds more like something I will be doing when I am 90 years old and have nothing better to do. But hey, life is good because….Christmas is in 15 days AND Bex is hosting a Christmas party tomorrow. Cheers, my friends.
Bex’s Winter Mulled Wine
Ingredients:
- 1/2 bottle of red wine (I used cabernet sauvignon)
- One orange, sliced
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
Instructions:
Pour wine in saucepan and turn to medium-high heat. Slice the orange and place slices in the saucepan. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar in and mix until wine comes to a simmer. Reduce to medium-low heat and let simmer for 15 minutes.
Using a ladle, spoon mulled wine into glasses and add in fresh little cinnamon sticks. Enjoy!
